Not safe to be traveling between Srinagar and Leh right now
Keran is a small village located on the India-Paki Keran is a small village located on the India-Pakistan border. It is a village divided between both countries with a river acting as a natural border.

On one side of the river is India and Pakistan on the other side. Standing on its banks, you can clearly see the other side of the village, in a different country. It is so close that you can even wave at people standing on the other side, which is one of the favorite activities of the tourists here.

I set-up my camera for a timelapse and left it alo I set-up my camera for a timelapse and left it alone. Some kids were playing nearby and when they noticed the camera, all of them started to play, sit, and pose in front of it. I did not see this until I later trasferred the video to my laptop and reviewed it.

Thank you kids. You made a footage interesting that would otherwise have been a little dull.
