Not too long ago, a trip to Ladakh was really an affair for motorcycle enthusiasts, adventure lovers and travel junkies. It was not really a place where you can just plan a vacation with your family. Much however has changed now. What once was considered as a tough terrain only suitable for bikes now sees people traveling with their children on it. Government too has taken several steps in order to promote tourism by ensuring better road connectivity. Bus service in Ladakh, if not great still, has improved significantly. The frequency of existing buses was improved as well as new bus routes too were brought in to picture. Planing a trip to Ladakh by bus now is not really that difficult. If you too were planning the same then in this article, I will provide schedule, timetables and related fares of buses running to, from and within Ladakh.
