Ozark TV Series Review
This series reminded me a lot of Breaking Bad. Both these shows portray an honest family man turning dark and then getting really good at it. An even greater similarity however is that both of them are an impressive watch. I just finished binge watching both the seasons of Ozark and must say that I was really very impressed. While the second season may feel a little dragged, it still kept me hooked nonetheless. It is a great crime drama and I will definitely recommend watching it.
So what is good about Ozark? Pretty much everything really. They really got this one right so far and I hope the continue to do so in coming seasons as well. There are no big twists and turns here but It still is a gripping series with superb casting for every character. The writing is superb and the cinematography is amazing supported by great soundtrack.
The way the story progresses is its biggest strength though. The pace is just about right. It never feels rushed but at the same, never gets so slow either that things start to feel boring. In the end, what you get is an edge of your seat thriller that grips the audience from the very start; and to say that it is intense would be an understatement. I must warn you though that it is not a family friendly show because it involves a lot of graphic violence, nudity, foul language and sexual themes.
Final Verdict
My final word on this show will be that it is definitely worth watching. The first season of Ozark is outright brilliant and will leave you wanting for more. Things get a bit slow in the second season and you may feel like that the story was dragging but you will never lost interest still. I hope the review above was of help.
