I recently purchased and used a Leaf Collar Wireless Bluetooth Earphones with Mic for a short while and below is a review of how my experience with this product was. To summarize it all in a nutshell, I can tell you that it was one of the worst earphones I have ever used in my life and you should avoid buying it all cost. I bought this from Amazon India and returned it within a few hours. There was really nothing good about this earphone and in this price range, you can get products far better than this.
My main purpose of buying the Leaf earphones was to gift it to a relative. He is actually my uncle and mostly listens to old Hindi songs only. So I did not really need something that produces heavy Bass; or best in the class sound. All that I was looking for was a simple wireless earphone that can give an overall satisfactory sound. I looked up online and Leaf earphones showed up in the result.
Review
My main reason for buying this were online reviews. They were mostly all positive so I thought the product must be good but I was proven wrong.
It just turned out to be a bad and hyper advertised product. The company claims ‘deep bass 10 mm ‘ but there was just no Bass at all. It is hard to describe the sound in exact words but it felt like I was listening to some Rs. 100 earphone that I bought from a roadside hawker. Bluetooth kept on going in sleep mode. Every SMS and notification will pause play the music. Even the welcome sound when you switch it on is horrible, like one of those cheap Chinese headphones.
It will give you connectivity issue while multitasking. Voice will start to break when you switch from one app to another. I tried taking a few calls and there was absolutely no voice clarity. The person on the other end of the line had trouble understanding me too. The only good thing about it was the build quality which looked OK. I only used it for a couple of hours and decided to return so cannot really comment on the battery life. Bluetooth range too was OK.
Leaf Collar Wireless Bluetooth Earphones – Final Verdict
In the end, this earphone is a complete wastage of money. Even the local wired 10mm unit will sound far better than this. As I mentioned, I needed it for someone who listens to only old Hindi songs but even those started to sound horrible with this earphone. Thankfully, Amazon agreed to accept the return otherwise I would have had to throw it out.
They are charging Rs. 1,500 for it when it isn’t worth even Rs. 150. In this price range, you can get a far better product. I am currently using a Sencer earphone that I bought from Amazon as well and it is absolutely amazing. If you have a budget of Rs. 1500 then I will highly recommend buying Sencer.
