Below are a few Gulmarg pictures that I clicked during my recent trip. Shah Jahan a long time ago called Kashmir the heaven on earth. I recently traveled here exploring some very well-known as well as some highly remote areas of this heaven.
One part of my trip that stood above all however was a trip to the small town of Gulmarg. So much I was mesmerized by the beauty of this place that I wouldn’t really mind calling it heaven within the heaven of Kashmir.
There were many things that I liked about Gulmarg but the best was how well they have it maintained. I am really a travel junkie and one of the most common factors among all famous tourist destinations in our country that I have come across is that they all get trashed pretty quickly.
Shimla and Manali are shining examples of this theory. Wherever there are plenty of tourists, the place immediately goes down the drain.
This however is not really the case with Gulmarg. It receives thousands of tourists each year, both from within Kashmir and from other states. But the place is still very clean and very well maintained.
Gulmarg Pictures
Gulmarg is a year-round tourist magnet and no matter what time you arrive here, you will always find some tourists here. The Gondola ride here is one of the prime attractions of a trip; to not only Gulmarg but the entire Kashmir.
A trek to Alpather lake is definitely going to attract the adventurous kind. But most of all, the thing to do in Gulmarg is to just relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility all around.
This place is heavenly in every way. Watching the sun go down and the sky turning red over the green meadows is a sight to behold.
I will post a few pictures of the place that I clicked. I own a couple of DSLR cameras but still consider myself a novice, not someone who is good at photography. But the images below I think turned out all right. The camera I used to capture these was a Nikon D7200.
Conclusion
Nothing too great about the Gulmarg pictures I clicked but I do hope that you liked them. If you have any questions, you can contact me on Instagram and I will be happy to answer. You can also consider subscribing to my YouTube channel and asking a question there.
