Everyday at least 2-3 time I keep getting these calls from Vodafone to advertise their caller-tune services. I used to avail this service until some time back after which I just kept my number to no caller tune. Even after this, I get these calls from Vodafone which honestly has kind of become annoying now. You are at work, at meeting and suddenly the phone goes off. You receive the call and a song starts to play. What is funnier though is that for last one year, they have been calling me and everytime it is just one song that plays, “Bheege honth tere” from the movie murder as if they want me to use this as my caller tune.<\/p>\n
I kept calling their service numerous times to put my number on do not call list which they promise to do but has not happened yet. Then I finally gave up and started to use True Caller to block the numbers they called me from. To my surprise, I have been blocking their numbers for months and still get calls from a new one.<\/p>\n
I must say that it is one of the worst marketing strategies by any telecom company. You cannot just call your customers day by day to keep offering them services. What if someone is at a funeral or at a hospital and then you call him to play “Bheege honth tere”. If someone wants to use a caller tune, he would himself call and pick up one of his choice.
