If you are someone like me who once upon a time was a chain smoker for years, then I am sure the question how to remove nicotine stains from your teeth must bother you a lot. If it doesn\u2019t then you must be among the lucky lot whose teeth did not get affected at all after a long time of burning your lungs out. I unfortunately was not that lucky. There were times when my consumption of cigarettes was up to 2 packs a day. I tried my best to maintain a good oral hygiene but the years of smoking finally took its toll and by the time I successfully gave up smoking, my teeth were so badly stained with nicotine that people started to point out which of course was quite embarrassing. While I was still smoking, I never gave this much thought but after quitting, I seriously started to consider how to get rid of the ugly marks on my teeth. It was like every time I smiled or opened my mouth, I was providing a proof of how big a smoker I once was, even though I wasn\u2019t anymore, embarrassing part followed closely behind too. The first and foremost method is of course to visit a dentist and get your teeth cleaned. It will work and in the most effective manner however when I tried that, my dentist advised me against it majorly because I had already gotten my teeth cleaned twice in the past. Reason was of course the same, to remove nicotine stains but when I went for the same option the third time, my dentist said no because he was afraid that it might hurt my teeth. He agreed to do it if I insisted but after listening to his warning, I did not and decided to try some other method.<\/p>\n
