The first and the most popular one is the govt. bus fare from Srinagar to Leh operated by JKSRTC. These are a mix of luxury, semi-deluxe, and ordinary buses. The second category is of the buses that are operated by private tour operators and these are mostly semi-deluxe mini-buses or tempo travelers. The majority of the buses available are ordinary <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jksrtc.co.in\/\">JKSRTC<\/a><\/strong> buses and these play on the route on a daily basis.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Srinagar_to_Leh_Bus_JKSRTC\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Srinagar to Leh Bus JKSRTC<\/strong><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In theory, there are supposed to be 3 types of buses available from Srinagar to Leh, all provided by JKSRTC. The first one is a super luxury bus, the second one a deluxe, and the third a semi-deluxe bus. For a deluxe bus, it will cost you about Rs. 900 per person and Rs. 700 for a semi-deluxe bus. Please note that buying in advance is mandatory and you may not be able to board a bus if you didn&#8217;t have the ticket is already. Almost all of them came back with positive feedback. If you want to complete this journey, you will first have to reach Srinagar from Delhi by Bus and then board the Leh Bus that I described above.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Jammu_to_Leh_Bus_Service\"><\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Jammu to Leh Bus Service<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There is no direct bus from Jammu to Leh. There is no direct Bus available from Jammu to Kargil as well. The only way to travel from Jammu to Leh is to first reach Srinagar and then go to Leh.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Srinagar_to_Leh_Tempo_Traveller\"><\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Srinagar to Leh Tempo Traveller<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These are all mostly operated by private tour operators. They complete the journey non-stop without a halt in between.
