Without any doubt, Rohtang Pass is Manali’s biggest tourist attraction. Thousands of people visit Manali each year and not even one can imagine going back without driving up to the majestic Rohtang. The problem, however, comes in the form of the permit that is required to visit the pass.<\/p>\n

There is a check post at Gulaba. Without the permit, you will not be able to go beyond this point. The number of permits per day is limited to a total of 1300 and it is issued on a first come first serve basis.<\/p>\n
