There are two major reasons why so many people travel to Shimla each year. The first one is that it is easily accessible with good road connectivity and availability of basic amenities. The second and even bigger reason is that there is plenty to explore here. And I am not talking about just the main Shimla town. No, I am referring to the small villages around it like Kufri, Mashobra<\/a><\/strong>, Fagu, and Narkanda; some of which are actually even more scenic that Shimla itself.<\/p>\n

Shimla is perfect for someone who has a lot of shopping and eating out as a part of their itinerary. But during the tourist season, it gets a lot crowded which is not everyone’s cup of tea. So what do you do if you want to spend some time away from the crowd? Where do you go if a few days of peace is what you seek? You skip Shimla entirely and drive towards Narkanda.<\/p>\n
