The Unnecessary hatred in Our Hearts

by Vargis.Khan

It is not really a post but just something that I wanted to share. To be honest, I wasn’t even sure if I should post this here or just delete and forget about it. My blog is all about traveling to different places and that is the majority of the visitors I get. Now this person landed on my blog which means that he was searching for some information on visiting Kheerganga trek (because that is the post where he made that comment). So he came to my blog, got the information he needed and then left swearing at me.

The reason why I used the word “unnecessary” in the title of this post because this comment was unnecessary and unprovoked. The information on that article is all about visiting Kheerganga and it is actually written by a guy named Priyank. There is nothing religious in nature on that post and nothing offensive. It is just a travelogue and a few pictures by someone who traveled to Kheerganga and decided to write about this experience. Still, this person felt that he should swear at me; and the only reason is the unnecessary hatred he carries in his heart.

Internet is full of these kinds of people. Go to Youtube or Facebook and you will find hundreds of such people from all communities who got nothing better to do with their lives; other than to sit in front of a computer and throw insults at each other. The question I want to ask is how it helps. How did swearing at me help this guy in any ways? I didn’t even know and never said a word to him. To be honest, it made me laugh more than to make me feel bad. I mean come on. The only thing I did was to delete the comment and question this guy’s sanity.

No doubt, this person carries a diseased mind, but concern is that there are now plenty of such in this country directly or indirectly encouraged by certain powerful people.
As for you, I came across your blog in April’18 while planning for our Kinnaur – Spiti circuit trip in Aug-Sept’18… and I must admit the we have been immensely benefited with your first hand specific feedback, tips and suggestions, both at planning as also during travel period.
I’m very sure, this kind of deplorable items never visit mountain like Himalayas… as when you stand before a mighty mountain, you know your worth.
It has made you laugh, but you must have been hurt… We can only pity these kind of people…
Keep your good work always… Thanks

Thanks Pradip Bhai for taking the time to drop a note. And I agree with what you said about about standing in front of a mighty mountain and know your worth.

Don’t let these hateful comments bother you brother. We all children of the same mother and love each other so much. I feel so bad when I see these kind of discriminations in front of my eyes. But I hope a day will come when everyone will rise above this deplorable thinking. Till then, I just pray to God that please give them some intellect.

I am appalled at this guy’s limited and narrow thought process. Rather diseased!! I agree it makes one laugh than feel bad. You shouldn’t have deleted the comment, rather left it there as it is for others to read and make him realise that his stupid thought isn’t endorsed by sane people. He definitely needs treatment. We can write him off by just saying that poor guy is mentally unstable!!! But such people are dangerous to be left in the open.
