Vargis bhai, any update on the Hanle permits issue ? We don’t plan to do Umling La, but are very much interested in Hanle. Is the Spangmik – Man – Merak – Chushul road open for Hanle till Oct 1st week ? We’ve also heard the observatory staff can give us tour of the observatory if we reach well before 5 pm… any inputs on that ?

Hi Vargis bhai, please let me know if the agham- shyok road from nubra valley to pangong tso is open or not. Also, can we get the permits to travel from pangong tso to tso moriri. I’ll be traveling in second week of June.

Chushul route is off limits. Permits for Hanle are being given but you will have to travel via Chumathang.
